Risawoleska 1/1250 King George V, Macbrayne Steam Turbine Ferry, 1925-81 (Ri274)
New for 2007! During August 1941, she ferried Winston Churchill to HMS Prince of Wales to cross the Atlantic!
The first turbine ship to serve the Scottish Islands, she had a long life and many owners. Taken over in WW2, she was used to take sailors to and from the warships in Scapa Flow. Post war she had a spell with P&A Campbell and finished as a pub owned by Bass! Damaged by fire beyond economic repair in 1981.
