Amati have produced what must be the most accurate and detailed kit of this ship. The jam packed box of wooden parts includes 9 sheets of plans with a full colour overall building plan (a work of art in itself), 9 sheets of photo-etched brasswork to give superb detail - even down to rivets on the upper metalwork.

Bluenose, a 285 ton schooner, is the fantastic winner of "the International Fisherman's Trophy" in 1921. This regata was held, alternate year, off Lunenberg in Nova Scotia and Gloucester in New England.
Entry to the contest was strictly confined to genuine fishing vessels. Bluenose was entered for the challenge in 1921 and from then on she won every single race for which she was entered.

Producing a finished model with an overall length of 570mm and a height of 510mm, this good quality kit is the first from an association between Euromodels of England and Amaiti of Italy. Everything required to finish the model is in the box, including a polished hardwood baseboard and turned brass columns for display.
