Wooden boat kits require skill and patience in assembly. Some have solid or plastic ABS hulls which makes construction much quicker and easier, with the masts and rig requiring the most work. The usual form of construction is plank on frame and that requires a higher level of patience and skill but the result can be a museum quality model. That's down to you!

All current models are complete with fittings, although most will require glues and finishing tools.
